Mustapha Assi Engineering Designed Soho Loft – The First High Rise Luxury Condos in Downtown Las Vegas

The project cost was approximately $50 Million, built within few blocks of the future light rail construction and in the heart of downtown, surrounded by arts district and remodeled restaurant, and new shops and galleries.

Soho Lofts LV High Rise Condos is 16-story tower, 225 feet high. consisting of 112 condominium units on floors 7 through 11 with two story penthouses on the upper 2 floors all above 5 levels of secured parking. It has 15 different floor plans of high-end luxurious lofts ranging from 1,336 to 5,086 square feet with.

In addition to the same amenities as other towers, Soho Loft offers roof-top accommodations. On the rooftop alone, there is a fitness center, a pool & Jacuzzi, spa facilities, a clubhouse with billiards, a movie room, and a roof-top garden.

Soho Loft was built on ¾ of an acre property which is considered to be few of the smallest footprint for such a skyscraper in the state. One of the key challenges of the project was to have the most economical foundation design system and to avoid utilizing expensive soil foundation, or what is known as caisson system. Micro piling was utilized to reinforce the base ground for bearing pressure and minimizing such settlement for the short and long term as well, thus the entire building was set on thin matt foundation.
